This hard to find 911 is a special one. First year of the 964 so it's the carrera 4 with manual as they all were. The '89 is the only year with out the emissions controls and airbags. This c4 is in fantastic example. This air cooled 964 has a fantastic "no hit" body with a rust free under carriage. Corrosion free thanks to living in california it's whole life. Great door fit and panel fit all the way around. Working sun roof and rear spoiler. Fun to drive with it's 5 speed manual transmission and all wheel drive. This 964 is a great example of why this generation of the 911 is no longer looked over and now highly sought. Last changed hands in 2007 and i have a thick stack of service records proving his diligence in keeping this fine example in the best running condition as possible. The next owner is not walking into a neglected car that has a lots of issues. This one is road ready a new battery in 2016. Other work in 2016 included new tires, wiper blades, new front rotors, calipers, and pads. In 2014 the oil tank was leaking and new tank was installed and new hoses which stopped the leak. In 2013 this 964 received a full engine re seal to the tune of $5,433. The engine was dropped and every seal was replaced. This is one well taken care of and loved porsche. Unique gray leather interior in near flawless condition. Excellent interior condition including the wheel, seats and headliner, no flaws on the dash such as cracking or other signs of being left in the sun. 989 964 with rs inspired modifications and an impressive list of quality performance parts. All backed by an intensive receipt and record book. All '89 964's came off the factory line as a c4 mated with a manual transmission. Within the last 2,500 miles here is a list of some of the maintains. K&n filter cleaning, power steering oil change, new dme relay, gear oil change with redline75w90, fuel tank strainer, overhauled the sun roof, transfer case oil change, fuel filter, fuel cap seal, fuel door rubber flap, overhaul of distributor , new tiers at 92,500, new bosch ignition coil, new facet ignition rotor, new beru dist cap, new plugs, adjust valve gap, replace cam over oil seal gasket, new brake and clutch fluid, new engine compartment sound pad. Lot's of upgrades as well with front strut brace bar, front and rear adjustable sway bars, pillow ball joints sway bar lint, rs bilstein suspension kit, rear pillow ball joint suspension lower arm, big red "turbo" brake caliper, front 2 piece full floating drilled brake rotor, rear drilled brake rotor. The engine was overhauled at 67,000 miles and received the 3. 8 liter upgrade, 3. 8 rsr camshaft by web cam inc, flywheel and clutch upgraded to rs parts, transmission mount strengthened, engine mounts upgraed to rs parts, k&n air filter, top half ecu engine chip to meet 3. 8 litre and mass air flow sensor upgrades. The exhaust has been upgraded to borla with new catalytic converter, stainless exhaust , stainless heat exchangers, 17" cup wheels, rs aero side mirrors, all lamps now led, other than headlights and fogs.
